MeadCeramics is the ceramic practice of artist Melissa Mead, creating handmade functional ware, sculptural pieces and bespoke ceramics from a small studio in Albany, Auckland.
From restaurant or private commissions and custom tableware to everyday pieces for the home and playful, creative sculptures, each work is made with a love of form, texture, experimentation and the character of clay.
Melissa enjoys creating pieces that bring a sense of connection and individuality to their surroundings — whether they’re being used around a table, treasured at home or simply making you stop and take a second look.
