Description
I’m Myriam Goos, a Nelson-based ceramic artist and pottery tutor running Claybound NZ. I work in both wheel throwing and handbuilding, drawn to organic forms, rich surface texture, and a muted, earthy palette.
I began my ceramics practice in 2020 and now teach as well as make, running small group classes in Nelson for beginners and developing makers. My work ranges from functional thrown ware to handbuilt vessels that sit somewhere between functional and sculptural.
