Kirsty opened her pottery studio and workshop in 2018, with her background in textile, graphic, and interior design proving invaluable in the multi-disciplinary art of ceramics. Her work reflects her love of the creative process – drawing inspiration from patterns, shapes, and textures of the natural world and found objects. Every aspect of her design is carefully considered, with particular care being taken with the more subtle, tactile qualities that make using something as simple as a mug feel just right. As an enthusiastic cook and host, she appreciates the difference a set of beautiful plates or serving platter can make.
