Description
My work is about many things at once, and ideally it does something. It seeks to de-centre the subject (the artist, the art), it seeks to blur the boundaries between process and product. It seeks to acknowledge the living-ness of actants outside of itself, and its creator.
At its best, my work is about sharing: it shifts the receiverâs thinking, feeling, being; makes the viewer look closer/differently, the listener listen intently but hear something different from what they expected; it makes the receiver want to touch and be a part of, to recognise the embodied life in what is around them, and to be makers. It shares the stories/knowledge/resources of the process.
