Description
Shane Gallagher is an award-winning Auckland-based artist whose practice is inspired by nature. His work explores the interplay of texture and form through vessels and sculptural pieces. By pushing clay to its limits, he creates dynamic surfaces using techniques such as layered dry glazes and glazes that intentionally crack and crawl, resulting in work that is both experimental and evocative.
